Abstract
By altering surface electron distribution of carbon
nanotubes and creating structural defects, co-doping with B and N promotes
polarization of pi electrons on carbon nanotube surfaces and thus, generates
more abundant pi-electron-rich and pi-electron-deficit sites that are
beneficial for the adsorption of both pi-acceptor and pi-donor aromatic
compounds.
