2017年1月24日，新加坡国立大学吴继善博士访问功能高分子材料教育部重点实验室，并做了题为“From Open-shell Singlet Diradicaloids to Polyradicaloids”的学术报告。



吴继善博士简介：
1997年从武汉大学化学系毕业并获得学士学位； 2000年从中国科学院长春应用化学研究所毕业获得硕士学位； 2004年从德国马普聚合物研究所获得博士学位； 2004-2005年间马普聚合物研究所研究组组长； 2005-2007年间在UCLA的Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry从事博士后工作，导师是2016年诺贝尔获奖人Sir J. Fraser Stoddart；自2007起，在新加坡国立大学(NUS) 化学系工作，目前是Associate Professor，获Dean's Chair Professor称号。 
吴继善博士获得的荣誉有: NUS Young Investigator Award; Asian Core Program Lectureship Award from Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand; Singapore National Young Scientist Award； Young Chemist Award, Department of Chemistry, NUS； Young Scientist Award, Faculty of Science, NUS； NUS Young Researcher Award； BASF-Singapore National Institute of Chemistry Award in Materials Science; Invited Lecturer of Asian Excellence from the Japanese Society of Polymer Science; Distinguished Lectureship Award from the Chemical Society of Japan; Outstanding Chemist Award, Department of Chemistry, NUS； Dean's Chair Professor； FoS Outstanding Scientist Award。 吴博士发表了200余篇论文引用次数达 10,000, H因子为50 。
