1991年7月毕业于南开大学化学系，获理学学士学位

1996年7月毕业于南开大学高分子化学研究所，获理学博士学位，导师何炳林教授

1996年7月至今在南开大学化学学院从事教学科研工作

2003年10月至2005年12月在日本东京大学从事博士后研究，导师为相田卓三教授

3.      天津市自然科学基金资助项目“纳米晶粒TiO2复合微球制备及其废水处理研究”，2002.6-2005.6

4.      教育部留学回国人员科研启动基金“含柔性取代基稠环双卟啉的合成及其液晶行为研究”，2008.1-2010.12

在国内外学术刊物上发表相关论文40余篇，授权专利3项。“功能化液晶高聚物改性环氧树脂热固性材料”的研究荣获2001年天津市自然科学奖三等奖。
